Check out Bedrock, our Fun-Filled Children's Ministry
Bedrock is our children's educational program that meets Sunday mornings during our regular service. We welcome all children to join us for what we hope would be their best hour of the week. Children experience community with friends and feel God's love. Did we mention they'll have fun?
GEMS: Our nursery care is designed for children infant through age 12 months. Children are cared for by loving volunteers who help each child feel secure and happy with lots of hugs, smiles, stories, playtime, snacks and comfort.
PEBBLES: Children ages 12 months (and walking) to 3 enjoy a hands-on curriculum that is designed to teach Biblical truth through age appropriate crafts, finger plays, games and music. Of course it wouldn't be early childhood without snacks, playtime and plenty of love from caring volunteers.
NUGGETS: Children ages 3 - PreK join with loving nuggets volunteers who use a step-by-step approach to engage kids and reach them according to their learning style. This curriculum uses crafts, finger plays, games and music to teach the Bible story.
ROCKS: Kindergarten through 1st grade
STONES: 2nd and 3rd grade
BOULDERS: 4th and 5th grade
Children in Rocks, Stones and Boulders participate in an exciting, well-rounded curriculum that teaches Biblical truth. Our Large group time utilizes drama, puppets and music to help the Bible stories come alive. Then the message is reinforced in a small group through games and hands-on activities. During small group time 7 - 10 children gather with a loving volunteer who reinforces the message. This enables our volunteers to get to know each child individually. The children enjoy fun, Biblically solid teachings while some, more importantly, experience the love of Jesus.
KidStuf is where elementary age kids take their parents to learn about character and faith. It's a fast, noisy, zany, multimedia, kid-focused, parent-centered, virtue-driven 40-minute extravaganza held the first Sunday of every month.
